Our chefs have scoured the city for the finest ingredients from Manchester’s best independent producers. Using these, they’ve created fresh, low-air-mile menus featuring a selection of delicious small plate dishes. Highlights include our very own Lock 84 IPA, specially brewed by Salford’s Seven Bro7hers craft brewery, and Worker Bee Coffee, roasted just a few steps from the hotel.

Our Breakfast
We offer an A ‘La Carte breakfast, including plated Full English breakfast or plated full vegan breakfast, other favourites including a nod to our local history with the Floddie, a breakfast potato cake originally eaten 200 years ago on the canal of Britian.
We also offer our Lockkeepers table, including local breads, cereals, cheese, yoghurts and fresh fruit. Finally, we offer a selection of fresh fruit juices, Worker Bee coffee, BrewTea loose leaf tea and uniquely flavoured waters.
Due to popular demand, we recommend you reserve your table. Our Breakfast is also available for guests not staying in the Hotel.

Chris’s Kitchen is a culinary melting pot of fresh, seasonal, and enterprising flavours; cherry picking dishes from all corners of the world, brought together and showcased in an energetic, engaging, vibrant and modern dining room.
Our evening small plates menu evolves and will never not serve up surprises and unique daily inventions. Our restaurant offers sincere service that’s relaxed, informed and has refined modesty- which in turn helps to create a vibrant social scene surrounded by captivating design.

Lock 84 bar is at the heart of the hotel, where the world meets Manchester. It’s the ideal place for a quick catch up, pre-event drink and snack or a post event nightcap. Our bar showcases our pioneering partners, with subtle nods to Manchester’s heritage.
Our bar sits directly behind our welcoming hotel reception, Lock 84 is perfect for those fast- paced lunch meetings, energetic pre-event drinks or catch ups or quieter more relaxed nightcaps. Our Cocktail menu is inspired by the ‘The Rochdale Nine’ a set of locks running through the heart of the city, we also showcase our fantastic wine offering, which is made of great examples of all regions & styles of wine, and a great selection of contemporary beers.
